CHETANA PRIMARY TEACHERS’ TRAINING INSTITUTE is promoted by an NGO “BISHPURIA CHETANA”. It is an NGO registered under WBSR Act - 1961 having registration number - S/1L/18953 OF 2003-04. It is located in BISHPURIA, far from the madding crowd. It is about 40 Km. from Purulia, Bankura and Adra town. It is located by the side of NH – 60 A. It has an enviable environment having serene spacious and stupendous campus. The Institute provides best of the residential accommodation which is just like home for all the trainees and the faculty. Our students participate in various social activities like blood donation campaigns, AIDS awareness camp and old age home service.
